How are days counted?

The counter finds the number of midnights between the two dates. Choose “include both dates” to add one, as when counting days of a trip or a leave application.

Working days skip Saturdays and Sundays

Including the end date

From Monday to Friday is 4 days by subtraction (4 nights), but 5 days if you count both Monday and Friday, as for a 5-day leave. Pick the option that matches what you're counting.

Public holidays

Working days here are Monday to Friday only. Subtract gazetted and state holidays yourself, as they differ across India.
