How likely is each roll?
On a fair die every face has the same chance. With more dice, totals near the middle become much more likely than the extremes.
P(any one face) = 1 ÷ number of sides
2d6: a total of 7 has a 6 in 36 chance (1 in 6)
Is this dice roller fair?
Yes. It uses your browser's cryptographic random generator and rejects biased values, so each face is exactly as likely as any other.
Dice names
Gamers write dice as NdS: “2d6” means two six-sided dice, and “d20” is one twenty-sided die, common in tabletop role-playing games.
